As a member you will receive up to date information via phone concerning hurricanes if you are in an area at risk or any other potential natural disaster that could affect your home and family.
How will you warn me?
You will receive automated calls on your home, cell and work phones that you register with us when you become a member.
What if I change my phone number?
If any of your contact numbers change then just let us know so that we can update your information.
Do I have to pay to attend the Attorney Workshop?
No, as a Premier Member you pay nothing to attend and can attend more than one if you so wish.
Can the attorney help me even if I am not in foreclosure yet?
Yes, even if you are not yet in foreclosure but are having difficulty paying your mortgage the attorney workshop will provide you with vital information about your rights and options.
Can I become a member even if I have an attorney?
Yes, and you can still attend the attorney workshop. It never hurts to be armed with as much information as possible.
Do you do get involved with Loan Modifications?
Loan modifications are between you and your lender and you don’t necessarily need anyone else to become involved with that. However, your lender is much more likely to want to modify your loan if they have an incentive to do so such as identifying a breach in the Truth In Lending Act.
As a Premier member how long will I have to continue to pay $49.95 per month?
Your monthly payment goes towards the legal costs of contesting the validity of your mortgage and so you will continue to pay until your case is resolved. However, I’m sure you will agree that $49.95 per month is a small price to pay if your lender is forced to improve the terms of your mortgage.
As a Premier member will I be able to communicate with the attorney on a regular basis, and at my discretion?
The attorney will post any and all developments in your case online in your own secure member section so you will always be aware of what is happening. In addition you will be invited to conference calls when the attorney will update members with progress.
If the attorney handles my foreclosure what can I expect the end result to be when it is settled? The best and worst case scenario.
The worst case scenario of the attorney handling your foreclosure is that you will be assured of justice, have your day in court and delay the actual foreclosure and sale of your home by months. The best case scenario, depending on your mortgage documentation is that you will keep your home and could even have your original mortgage rescinded.
What happens if I am unable to make my monthly payment?
If you fail to make your monthly payments you will no longer be eligible for the legal representation and advice afforded to you under your membership.
Can my monthly payments be automatically charged to my credit card each month?
You can set up recurring billing for your monthly payment as an option when you become a member.
Can the attorney handle legal issues for me other than mortgage problems?
The attorney has been retained to deal only with issues regarding your mortgage and/or foreclosure. Please make sure you read the legal services agreement for the scope of services to which you are entitled.
Can I pay my Valued member dues annually?
If you prefer to pay for your membership annually you can do this in advance. Please contact our customer service to arrange this for you.
If I discover a rip off, scam or something of importance that other members should know can I submit it for posting on the web site?
We are committed to providing our members with the best quality information so if you are aware of a scam or something you believe all of our members can benefit from please submit them to You Be Aware for investigation. Once we have checked the information out and are comfortable that it is in the interest of our members we will post it to our site.
